December Playlist – Being Reflective

The December playlist is here. It’s that time of the year where many look back at the year and start looking onto the next. For many, it would’ve been a very eventful year. For some, they may feel that the year was a standstill and wish the next year brings better luck. Whereas others may look back with regret (don’t do that), and worry about the next year.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. – Mathew 6:34, KJV

For me, it has been a flash. It really has. I’ve officially gone past the one year mark in my first job out of university. Now, I look back at the experiences and hope next year brings joy – but often I’m pensive. So I sit in my room, with music playing loud and plan mentally what I want to do in the next year, before I put pen to paper, or finger to keyboard. Now that I think about it, it’s a process for me. I have an explosive Christmas coming that fizzles away a few days after (after stuffing my face). And then I hope for an even more explosive new year, as I prepare to go back to work.

This playlist is what I’ve had on repeat to help that thinking process. I hope it soothes your mind as well as it does mine.
